Reaxis has partnered with Fort Cherry High School to support The Challenge Program, Inc. (TCP), a motivational program for students in grades 10-12. The Challenge Program’s mission is to inspire students to develop the skills and habits necessary for success in school and their future careers, providing them with possible answers to the question of how to choose a career after high school. Through partnerships between schools and local businesses, TCP connects students with industry leaders who sponsor the program for the academic year.

This fall, Reaxis and TCP held a kickoff assembly at Fort Cherry High School. During the event, students were introduced to the program’s five award categories, those being awards for Attendance, STEM, Community Service, Academic Improvement, and Academic Excellence. Additionally, these students were shown how academic achievement can translate into career readiness. Reaxis also shared information about various career paths within its own organization, including roles in business operations, chemistry, plant operations, and human resources, highlighting the variety of roles that companies need to fill and keying students into the possibility of taking their skills into industries they might not have otherwise considered.

Throughout the school year, students will have the opportunity to participate in activities with Reaxis employees such as interviews, presentations, site tours, and “business partner weeks” to gain deeper insights into career opportunities offered by Reaxis.

Thanks to Reaxis’s sponsorship, 15 students—five seniors, five juniors, and five sophomores—will each receive a $200 award in recognition of their achievements.
