The Reaxis Workplace Safety Committee has been recertified by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry effective December 27, 2017.The Safety Committee consists of the EHS Manager, Production Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor and 3 union representatives.
“I have seen a lot of improvements and successes from these committee meetings and it is a team effort to accomplish as much as we have in the past years.” stated Victoria Baker, EHS Manager. She continued “Our safety commitment and our workplace can only get better and better with these efforts.
The renewal of the safety committee certification has been granted under Section 1002(b) of the Workers’ Compensation Act and entitles us to a 5% discount on the insurance rates.
